Felicitation Ceremony of International Value Education Olympiad Honors Students for Their Commitment to Values

New Delhi, November 5, 2023 The grand felicitation ceremony of the International Value Education Olympiad (IVEO) took place at the ISKCON Auditorium in East of Kailash, bringing together students, educators, and dignitaries to celebrate the exceptional commitment to values exhibited by young minds. The event, held on Sunday, November 5, was a testament to the importance of instilling values in the next generation.

A staggering 528,587 students from across the globe participated in the IVEO, demonstrating their dedication to embracing values that contribute to a better world. The event was graced by the presence of Shri Bhupender Yadav, Honorable Minister of Environment, who served as the Chief Guest. His words of encouragement and wisdom resonated with the attendees, emphasizing the need to prioritize values in education.

The blessings and guidance of His Holiness Gopal Krishna Goswami, ISKCON Bureau Chairman, added a spiritual touch to the ceremony, underscoring the significance of values and ethics in shaping the lives of these young achievers.

The highlight of the event was the presentation of prizes to 105 exceptional students who excelled in the IVEO. Their hard work, dedication, and commitment to values were celebrated, inspiring others to follow in their footsteps.

The felicitation ceremony was attended by distinguished dignitaries, including Dr. Vibha Dhawan, Director General of TERI; Sh. Asit Gopal, Commissioner of Ekalavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS); Sh. Vinayak Garg, Commissioner of Jawahar Navodaya Samiti (JNV) Schools; Sh. Himanshu Gupta, IAS, Directorate of Education; and Mr. Ripu Daman, among many others. Their presence underscored the importance of values in education and the role of these young minds in shaping the future.
